Following a request by actor Anirudh Jatkar to the Chief Minister to take action to prevent the Tungabhadra River from becoming polluted with constant waste and sewage, a consultative meeting was held in Shivamogga with various departmental officials. After this meeting, a visit to the office was made yesterday to submit a request for cooperation in the purification of the Tungabhadra River. Discussions were also held about cleanliness in our Kudli area and the 'Tunga Bhadreya Arathi' program, with assurances given to support this initiative.
