The COVID pandemic shook the entire world and left a mark on the lives of ordinary people. During the COVID period, there were situations where people were afraid to step outside their homes. Millions lost their jobs, and countless deaths were witnessed. Many people were left without work, and there were circumstances where financial assistance was necessary to procure essential items. After understanding the hardships faced by people in the field through mobile communication, we decided that simply staying at home would not suffice; we needed to help the people in the field. Together with dedicated volunteers, many activities were carried out. In such a critical situation, we followed COVID protocols and, with the help of volunteers, identified the poor in the field without discrimination based on caste, religion, or community. We made lists and provided daily kits, masks, and medicine to assist them. A kit containing rice, lentils, sugar, and other essentials was distributed to 11,000 people in the Shivamogga rural area. Working day and night, volunteers delivered daily kits from house to house. I have provided assistance to every village within my jurisdiction as much as possible during the COVID period.
