In Bikkonahalli village of Shimoga Rural Constituency, a compensation of ₹15 lakh was announced by the Forest Department for the family of Yashodamma, who lost her life in a leopard attack. The compensation check was handed over to her mother, Chandramma, along with offering condolences. Senior officials from the Forest Department were present during the occasion.
